Ohio man sought in wife’s death found dead of apparent suicide

MARYSVILLE, Ohio — The search for a man wanted in connection with the death of his wife ended Sunday when he was found dead in a motel room, according to reports.

Marysville police did not say exactly where Kenneth R. West, 47, was found, only that it was in “another jurisdiction,” 10tv.com reports.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, West died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The body of West’s wife, Diana West, 68, was found by police on Saturday in the couple’s Marysville home, reports say. Officers went to the home when her daughter was unable to contact her.

Police say the daughter said she had been receiving text’s from her mother but didn’t believe they were from her.

Kenneth West had been charged with abuse of a corpse before being found dead by officers on Sunday.
