‘Little Women’ starts today at GraceArts
GraceArts Live will presents Louisa May Alcott’s “Little Women,” starting today. The play runs three weekends, Nov. 30-Dec. 2, Dec. 7-9, and Dec. 14-16.
Louisa May Alcott’s beloved, semi-autobiographical story of the adventures of the four March sisters is brought to vivid musical life in this version of the Broadway musical. In the play, the Civil War is in full swing, and the March sisters live in Concord, Massachusetts, with their mother while their father is on the battlefield. Filled with adventure, both lived and imagined, heartbreak, a deep sense of hope, and everlasting love, the struggle of these “Little Women” to find their own voices mirrors the growing pains of a young America.
Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. For tickets and information, visit the theater box office at 2146 McCulloch Boulevard Monday through Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m., or call 928-505-2787.
