Steve Bannon turned over ‘thousands’ of documents to House Democrats
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler said Monday President Trumps former adviser Steve Bannon handed over thousands of documents in response to the committee’s probe of the administration, Mr. Trumps campaign and business dealings.
The New York Democrat sent out more than 80 requests earlier this month to individuals and companies connected to the president as it investigates whether Mr. Trump tried to obstruct justice during the special counsel probe.
On Monday, Mr. Nadler told MSNBC he received tens of thousands of documents so far, and people have signaled they will cooperate with the panels investigation.
Im encouraged by how much information weve gotten, he told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. We are going to have to analyze all of this and see where we go from here.
