CLEVELAND (AP) _ Cleveland Cavaliers forward Danny Ferry had successful arthroscopic surgery Tuesday to repair damaged cartilage in both knees, the team said.
The procedures were done by Dr. John Bergfeld, the team physician, at the Cleveland Clinic.
The Cavs said Ferry would begin rehabilitation immediately and should be ready for pre-season workouts beginning Oct. 6. He missed 12 games last season with an inflamed right knee.
Ferry averaged 4.2 points and 15 minutes playing time per game.
