Man pleads guilty to burglary of Coach Frost home; charges pending on two others
LINCOLN - A 21-year-old Lincoln man has pleaded guilty to burglarizing the home of Nebraska Head Football Coach Scott Frost, while it was under construction this past summer in south Lincoln.
Andrew Williams was arrested a few days after the burglary took place in late July. An officer stopped a vehicle in which Williams was riding and saw shoes which matched the description of those taken from the Frost home.
Lincoln police report Williams and two others entered the home through an unlocked garage door July 27th. They stole $50,000 worth of shoes, football helmets, and art. An initial report that thieves took 14 championship rings was incorrect.
No one was at home at the time.
Charges against the two others, both 17, are pending.
