Milford PD: Man tried to take high-end construction equipment
MILFORD — A city man accused of taking several pieces of construction equipment from a parking lot was charged after officers arrest him on Wednesday
Dustin Ruocco, 47, of Crawley Avenue, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.
On Wednesday, around 5 p.m., cops saw suspicious activity in the parking lot of 86 Plains Road, Aldi’s shopping plaza.
“Officers set up surveillance on a male and observed him enter a restricted construction site, by cutting a hole in the fence, and then remove several high-end pieces of construction equipment,” police said. “The male then returned to his vehicle and was taken into custody by the officers.”
Ruocco was held on a $25,000 bail and he appeared in court Wednesday. His next court appearance was unclear because there were no updated court records for him available later Wednesday.
