Michelle Crowell, 36, of Kankakee, passed away May 5, 2019, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
She was born May 15, 1982, in Kankakee, the daughter of Joseph Crowell Sr. and Modene (Bender) Crowell.
Michelle was a homemaker and a resident of the Kankakee County area for 36 years.
Her hobbies were playing cards, playing bingo and dining.
She attended St. Anne Woods Chapel in Pembroke Township.
Surviving are three sons, Kavon Crowell, Daveion Crowell and Kewan Crowell, all of Kankakee; her parents, Joseph Sr. and Modene Crowell, of Kankakee; grandfather, John Ray Bender Sr., of Pembroke Township; one sister, Teresa Crowell, of Joliet; and three brothers, Darnail (Stephanie) Crowell, of Kankakee, Joseph Jr. (Shyretha) Crowell, of Griffin, Ga., and Lance (Kimenitta) Crowell, of Kankakee.
Preceding her in death were her other grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Leggett Funeral Home in Hopkins Park. An additional time for visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, May 18, until the 10 a.m. funeral service at New Vision M.B. Church, 1501 E. Merchant St., Kankakee, with the Rev. Louis Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery, Kankakee.
