The New York-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 8 cents per share.

The brand management company posted revenue of $8.3 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.65. A year ago, they were trading at $3.90.
