Orchids and Onions: Wednesday, August 1, 2018

August 1, 2018

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to Mohave Mist and Spa, where we purchased a Lion Grill. The rotisserie motor stopped working. Store honored the 6-month warranty; they took care of it for no charge. Great customer service.

Orchids to Palmieri Construction. All employees and subs have the same attitude and work ethic. Honest, on time and old fashioned values. Refreshing to see young business people work so hard and truly care. Havasu is lucky.

Onions to the onion giver about the older gentleman yakking on his phone for 45 minutes in the Mexican restaurant. I have an idea. Keep your nose in your own plate of tacos! Geeze!

Onions to not responding to people who have fallen in their business and an incident report was taken. Shame on them.

Orchids to Arizona Coast Wide Open MRI for getting my disc to a doctor that needed it right away. Thank you. He only had to fax a request once and received the disc from them. That is efficiency.

Orchids to Mike at Havasu Hardware. He went over and above customizing a paint color for me. He was very knowledgeable with the tints, friendly and professional. A real asset to Havasu Hardware and the town. Bev H.

Onions to the extremely rude, unprofessional person at the Sherriff’s department. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. A little professionalism and kindness would go a long way.

Orchids to all the HRMC ICU staff who took extremely good care of me with patience and love during my record 9-day stay. I felt very well-tended. My family and I are very grateful for you.

Orchids to Vicki at Vickie’s Jewelry. Re-pronged my diamond anniversary band reasonably and timely. Made it look like new. Then reshaped another ring band at no extra charge. Much appreciated.

Onions to the MVD. What happened to all the chairs? One row of chairs, people standing in line for a long time instead of sitting and waiting to be called. Not good. Several older people and people with canes, all having to stand.

Onions to service providers publishing bogus contact numbers on outdated websites, promise speedy call-backs or prompt service calls. Multiple email addresses given but no follow through reply. Coupons are worthless if one cannot make service call appointment!
