Tickets still available for Sept. 10 Ken Burns program
Tickets are still available for the premiere screening of the Ken Burns Mayo Clinic film Sept. 10 at Mayo Civic Center.
Fewer than 1,000 tickets were still available as of Wednesday afternoon, said Kelley Luckstein, of Mayo Clinic’s Public Affairs Department.
The tickets are free, and may be picked up at the Mayo Civic Center box office. The program starts at 7 p.m. in Taylor Arena.
The film, “The Mayo Clinic: Faith-Hope-Science,” will be shown at the event, which will also include a discussion with Burns, Mayo CEO Dr. John Noseworthy, and co-directors Erik and Christopher Loren Ewers. The film will debut nationwide Sept. 25 on PBS television stations.
A community block party with live entertainment and food will be held starting at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 10 on the plaza outside Mayo Civic Center. Admission is free and no tickets are required.
