Black Knight: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Black Knight Inc. (BKI) on Monday reported second-quarter profit of $40 million.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it had profit of 27 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 46 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 44 cents per share.
The provider of data and analytics for the mortgage and finance industries posted revenue of $276.6 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $277.4 million, falling short of Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $278.3 million.
Black Knight expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.73 to $1.81 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.11 billion to $1.13 billion.
Black Knight shares have climbed 18 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $52.05, a rise of 22 percent in the last 12 months.
