Charleston man killed in Gallia County single-vehicle car crash
HUNTINGTON — A Charleston man was killed late Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash in Gallia County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on Ohio 7 near mile post 31, according to a release from the Gallipolis post of the highway patrol.
Christopher C. Ferguson, 29, of Charleston, suffered fatal injuries in the crash after his 2002 Saab 93 crossed the center line of the roadway, striking a traffic sign, ditch and tree before overturning and coming to rest on its top.
Ferguson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the release.
The road was closed for about an hour after the crash, which remains under investigation.

Destruction of property, 8 a.m. Saturday, 3600 block of Crane Avenue.
Petit larceny, 9 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of West 5th Avenue.
Petit larceny, 1:15 p.m. Saturday, 300 block of 6th Avenue.

Ronald McGinnis, 36, was incarcerated at 12:05 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with grand larceny. Bond was $10,000.
