Longmont Police Notes: Drugs in the Laundry Room

Longmont police responded Friday to the 1400 block of Emery Street to the report of a trespass a by transient sleeping in the laundry room of an apartment complex. The man was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. He was referred to the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program and the case is closed.

At about 7:30 a.m. Friday , Longmont police assisted the Colorado Department of Corrections Parole with a warrant arrest in the 300 block of Lashley Street. A man was taken into custody without incident.

Longmont officers took a report Friday reference a theft which occurred in the 200 block of Ken Pratt Boulevard. The case is closed, as suspects are unknown.

At approximately 4:20 p.m. Friday , the Longmont Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of 1st Avenue. One man was arrested for DUI without incident.

Longmont officers were dispatched Friday to the 000 block of Emery Way reference a liquor law violation/possible underage party involving alcohol. A woman was referred to the Longmont Community Justice Partnership program and the case is closed.

A report was taken on Friday reference an aggravated motor vehicle theft and theft which allegedly occurred in the 2200 block of Pratt Street. The case is closed, as the vehicle was located and no crime occurred.
