Course Hero Signature Lecture Series to Feature Technology and Analytics Lecturer Phil Simon

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 9, 2018--Course Hero, an online learning platform where members can access over 20 million course-specific study resources contributed by a community of students and educators, today announced that Phil Simon, lecturer of technology and analytics at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, will participate in the Course Hero Signature Lecture Series on Thursday, October 11.

Esteemed educators from colleges and universities across the country are invited onto the Course Hero campus to perform their “signature lecture” for team members. Presenters range from university administrators to award-winning instructors and represent a range of disciplines.

Simon’s lecture is entitled “7 Questions About Big Data.” Simon will provide an introduction to Big Data by answering question such as: What is Big Data? Is Big Data a big deal? What are some examples of organizations effectively using Big Data?

Simon is an award-winning author of eight business books; an advisor to organizations and individuals on strategy, platforms, Big Data, management, communication, technology, and trends; and a frequent contributor to prominent media outlets including Harvard Business Review, Wired, and The New York Times.
