Danbury freight firm expands with $465M buy
The Danbury-based freight transport provider Odyssey Logistics & Technology completed its $465 million acquisition of AFF Global Logistics, expanding its freight and warehouse operations in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
AFF focuses on freight services that coordinate shipments of partially full containers via ship, truck and rail, with the company based in Fife, Wash. and providing service as well to Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Odyssey has created a new multimodal global solutions division to integrate the companies’ common business units under Keith Hancock, previously head of Odyssey’s capital transportation solutions subsidiary.
