Oct. 28

2:53 a.m. — In the 700 block of 14th Avenue, an officer conducted an investigation involving a disturbance. After investigation and identification of a suspect, a report is being sent to the prosecutor for review.

12:16 p.m. — In the 300 block of Highway 26, police were called to a parking lot in reference to a domestic issue over the custody of a juvenile resulting in an assault to one of the parties. A suspect had left the area prior to police arriving. A report was forwarded to the county attorney’s office for review.

12:26 p.m. — Officers investigated a domestic disturbance occurring at a residence in the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue. Jesus Cruz was arrested on charges of domestic assault.

4:19 p.m. — At West 20th Street and Avenue I, police investigated a minor non-injury motor vehicle accident. Darrell Keenan, 66,was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and following too closely.

4:38 p.m. — Officers investigated a complaint of theft by shoplifting at Dunham’s Sports, 2400 block of South Frontage Road.

5:25 p.m. — In the 300 Block of East Overland, officers arrested Jacob Lefthand, 25, on an arrest warrant from an outside jurisdiction.

11:34 p.m. — In the 00 block of Terry Boulevard, officers were sent to #31 Terry Blvd on a complaint that a neighbor was disturbing the peace of a couple of residences in the area. Several prior complaints have been made and investigated as well. The matter was referred to the city prosecutor.

Oct. 29

8:11 a.m. — An officer investigated a complaint of a theft from a vehicle. A window had also been broken out of the vehicle to gain access.

9:11 a.m. — An officer investigated a child abuse/neglect intake. A case plan was put into place.

10:12 a.m. — An officer investigated a child abuse/neglect intake. The situation noted in the report had been resolved.

11:35 a.m. — An officer investigated a child abuse/neglect intake. Further details were not in the report.

11:42 a.m. — In the 2400 block of Delta Drive, police investigated a report of shoplifting at Menard’s. Suspects had been located, but no arrests or citations were noted in the report.

11:17 p.m. — In the 100 block of Arlene Lane, Scottsbluff Police were dispatched to the area regarding a a possible protection order violation. Police had contact with Luis Baca, 34, driving an ATV in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue and he was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.

Oct. 30

8:26 a.m. — In the 00 block of Erin Lane, police investigated a vandalism.

8:26 a.m. — Officers received a report of a drunken driver operating in the area of West 27th Street. Police arrested Salvador Cervantes on a charge of driving under the influence.

3:56 p.m. — At Scottsbluff High School, officers received a report of a student being found in possession of drug paraphernalia. The student was cited.

4:55 p.m. — Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Arlene Lane in regards to a reported protection order. An investigation led to the arrest of Luis Baca, 34, on a charge of protection order violation.

5:12 p.m. — Police investigated a report of theft in the 1100 block of East 15th Street.

Oct. 31

8:57 a.m. — Police investigated a child abuse/neglect intake. Allegations had not been substantiated as of the date of the report.

Nov. 1

10:16 a.m. — An officer investigated a child abuse/neglect intake. All parties involved were contacted and the issued is being resolved with Health and Human Services. No law enforcement action was needed.

10:28 a.m. — An officer took a report of a theft of a dog kennel and saw horses from a residence in the 1700 block of Avenue O.
