Maryland Terrapins fans have seen the last of Bruno Fernando at least at the college level.

Fernando announced on Twitter Wednesday that he will remain in the NBA draft.

Coming off his sophomore campaign in College Park, Fernando had until June 11 to decide to withdraw from the draft and return to Maryland.

The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 13.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game in 2018-19. He recorded 22 double-doubles, tied for second most of any player in Division I last season.

“Maryland has helped me to grow more than I could have ever imagined,” Fernando wrote. “I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to wear this jersey and represent the name across my chest.”
