Nancy C. Ricchiuto, 72, of Bourbonnais, passed away Sunday (Sept. 30, 2018) at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her siblings and friends at the time of her passing.
She was born July 29, 1946, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy (Raines) Stone, in Galesburg. Nancy married Richard E. Ricchiuto on Dec. 1, 1982.
Nancy was employed as a unit secretary for 41 years at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital and retired in 2015. Nancy was of the Baptist faith. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, of Bourbonnais; two stepsons, Rick Ricchiuto, of North Carolina, and Ron Ricchiuto, of Maine; and two step-grandsons. Also surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue (Paul) Reynolds, of Manassas, Va., and Sally (Steve) Evans, of Bonfield; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott (Sue) Stone, of Kankakee, and Stan (Theresa) Stone, of High Springs, Fla.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Schreffler Funeral Homes, Kankakee Chapel. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in Abingdon Cemetery, Abingdon.
