NT Plays to 1-1 Tie

Freshman Davidson Fleming scored from a pass by senior Sam Poston for Nashoba Tech as the Vikings played to a 1-1 tie with Whittier Tech in Westford on Wednesday.

Boys, girls soccer

In other action, the Westford Academy boys fell 1-0 to Acton-Boxboro, while the Westford girls were beat by Acton-Boxboro, 2-1.

Seniors Kevin Silva and Dan Baxter also played well for the Vikings (1-1-2).

GIRLS

Masconomet 1

Central Catholic 0

The Raider girls suffered a rare loss as Masconomet’s first-half goal stood up during the non-league clash.

Central fell to 1-1 this season. Mary Gerard made 8 saves for the Raiders.

Arlington Catholic 3

Lowell Catholic 1

Freshman Charlotte Morey netted the only goal for LC (1-1) on a penalty kick.

Sophomore goalkeeper Grace Maston also played well in the loss.

Acton-Boxboro 2

Westford 1

Ally Fenniman scored both goals for Acton-Boxboro as the Colonials edged the Grey Ghosts.

For Westford, Isabel Doherty tallied a goal after a pass by Ally Giovano, who made a great run to the end line before crossing the ball to Doherty.

The Grey Ghosts, who hit two posts in the first half, received strong defense from Ava Couillard and Mel Almasian. In the midfield, Brook Ditcham, Mary Cadogan and Shadee Saberi played well.

Mya Barber-Mingo made 4 saves in goal.
