Ashland man appointed to state council

ASHLAND — Stephen D. Trimble, of Ashland, has been appointed to the Kentucky School Curriculum Assessment and Accountability Council by Gov. Matt Bevin, according to a news release.

Trimble will represent career and technical programs on the council. His term expires June 30, 2020.

The council advised the Legislative Research Commission and the Kentucky Board of Education on issues related to setting academic standards, school assessment and accountability.
