Darlington man charged in hit-and-run
DARLINGTON, S.C. -- A Darlington man has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident in connection with a Friday hit-and-run that left one person in a Pee Dee hospital in stable condition.
The hit-and-run happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Avenue D, according to Darlington Police Capt. Kimberly Nelson.
Jay Samuels, 48, was arrested by Darlington Police officers and remains in the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center, according to the center’s website. Bond has not yet been set for him.
The investigation into the incident continues, according to Nelson.
