AP is moving election test reports for the November 6, (Wyoming) general election starting on Monday, October 8:

Mondays from 1-3 p.m. EDT, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. MDT (two hours) and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-3 p.m. EDT, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. MDT (four hours).

Last election test is on Monday, Nov. 5 from 11-3 p.m. EST, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. MST (four hours). No winners will be called during the last test.

SHERIDAN — Technology in education will likely increase in the future. More students are likely to participate in something similar to the Cowboy State Virtual Academy, an online school started earlier this year by Sheridan County School District 1. The CSVA is relatively small, though, serving about a dozen students. Meanwhile, a full-time online school already exists in Wyoming. Wyoming Connections Academy is a public online school that serves students from across Wyoming in grades K-12 under the umbrella of Big Horn County School District 1. SALT LAKE CITY — Mormons will spend less time at church each Sunday after a change announced Saturday aimed at making worship more manageable for members around the globe. Starting in January, members will spend two hours at church each Sunday rather than three hours, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced at a conference. GOP OFFICE ARSON — The Albany County Republican Party headquarters in downtown Laramie is open for business again three weeks after someone apparently set fire to it. The fire occurred around 3 a.m. on Sept. 6 and damaged the office on the first floor of a building.

ELK HABITAT CONSERVED — More than 2,300 acres (930 hectares) in central Colorado are being preserved for elk and other wildlife habitat. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation says the land involves two properties and is located in Fremont County, southwest of Colorado Springs and between Canon City and Salida



HONOLULU, Hawaii — Wyoming travels to Hawaii for a Mountain West Conference contest. Game starts 10 p.m. MT.


DENVER — Everything is going the Milwaukee Brewers way. Christian Yelich is showing why he’s a leading NL MVP candidate and the bullpen is shutting down a high-powered Colorado offense. The Brewers lead 2-0 as the NL Division Series shifts to Coors Field, where the Rockies are hoping some familiar surroundings can jump-start their cool bats.
