BISMARCK, N.D. _ Rain and snowmelt from a massive late-winter storm pushed streams and rivers out of their banks, saturated rural fields and swelled on city streets from Nebraska to Wisconsin, even threatening a nuclear power plant Friday, with the flooding expected to last into the weekend. The high water pushed some waterways to record levels in Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota, though a cooler and drier forecast for the next two weeks suggested some possibility of relief. UNITED PILOT-INDECENT EXPOSURE _ A judge has dismissed an indecent exposure charge against a United Airlines pilot in Denver. Denver District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Carolyn Tyler said Friday that prosecutors decided to drop the case against Andrew Collins because there wasn’t a reasonable likelihood of conviction at trial.

GAS LEAK-EAGLE COUNTY _ Dozens of residents of a community in Eagle County have been allowed to return to their homes after being evacuated the night before because of a gas leak.

ROCKIES BLIZZARD _ Residents of southeast Wyoming and northeast Colorado are still digging out from the blizzard that struck the area over the last two days, but life is returning to normal for most. Most schools and government offices are reopening Friday. Airplanes are flying again, and the major interstates in both states are open.

FAKED ILLNESSES-SENTENCE _ A Colorado woman accused of faking illnesses to get donations has been sentenced to a year in the Larimer County work release program and 10 years’ probation.

DRUG DEBT TORTURE-PLEA _ Three men have been sentenced this week for the kidnapping and torture of a man over a drug debt. The U.S. Attorney reports 54-year-old Randal Holmes was sentenced Thursday to 15 years in prison without parole. And 43-year-old Michael Borrusch, of Lakewood, Colorado, was sentenced to three years and 10 months without the parole.

BIAS TRAINING-GRANT _ A Colorado district attorney’s office has received a grant for bias training in a city where several police officers confronted a black student outside his home.
