Price Named Mex. City News Editor
NEW YORK (AP) _ Niko Price, a correspondent for The Associated Press in Mexico City, has been promoted to news editor there.
The appointment was announced Wednesday by Tom Kent, AP’s international editor.
Price, 29, joined the AP in 1993 in Carson City, Nev., and transferred to Los Angeles six months later. He became an editor on the International Desk at AP headquarters in 1995 and transferred to Mexico City in 1997.
Price was born in Amsterdam and graduated from Harvard University.
He succeeds Anita Snow, who was recently named chief of the newly reopened AP bureau in Havana.
