WHAT’S AT STAKE
UCF is one of five undefeated FBS teams remaining, but only the Knights have won all of their games by double digits. Only one UCF game has been decided by fewer than 27 points. UCF leads all FBS teams with 51 points a game. SMU, already bowl eligible for the first time since 2012, is second to UCF in the American Athletic Conference with 42 points a game and is undefeated at home.
The front line of UCF’S 3-4 defense, all three starters returned from last season and all are at least 6-foot-1 and 310 pounds, against the SMU offensive line. Mustangs coach Chad Morris said his OL is coming off an unusual average performance against Tulsa last week. SMU will have to be productive on offense to keep up with the Knights.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
UCF: QB McKenzie Milton leads the nation in completion percentage (72.9) and yards per attempt (11.28). He has completed 129 of 177 passes for 1,997 yards for 19 touchdowns with three interceptions.
SMU: WR Trey Quinn leads the nation with 9.9 yards per catch, and is fourth with 109.3 receiving yards per game. Quinn twice had 17 catches in a game this season. There has been only one other 17-catch game in all of FBS this season.

SMU is 6-2 for the first time since 1984, and 5-0 at home for the first time since 1982. ... UCF set a school record for points in a 73-33 win over Austin Peay last Saturday night. The Knights scored on offense, defense and special teams for the second time this season. ... There have been 12 different UCF receivers who have caught passes. That doesn’t even count the running backs. There have been 17 different players catch passes overall.
