A new look coming for Greenwich’s Armstrong Court.
GREENWICH — After years of hard work, shovels finally hit the ground Saturday morning for a new look for Armstrong Court. The town owned affordable housing apartment complex will have 18 townhouses added to it but that is only one part of the phased project.
The rest of the six buildings, which contain 144 units, will be gutted and completely rehabilitated. This will create more three-bedroom units which are in high demand for families. Ultimately, there will be a total of 150 units at Armstrong Court.
The townhouses are the first phase and work began after a ceremony Saturday morning. The 18 townhouses will have six two-bedroom units and 12 three-bedroom units.
