Pascagoula: Grants available to property owners
PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) — Pascagoula property owners who want to either develop or sell their property but suspect the property has environmental issues, may apply for an environmental assessment grant.
WLOX-TV reports (http://bit.ly/10gooC2 ) Pascagoula received $400,000 in Brownfields Assessment grants from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Pascagoula Community and Economic Development Director Jen Dearman says the grant will help the city move toward development of properties along the Pascagoula River and throughout the Central Business District.
