_ EMPLOYMENT-NEW ACCOUNTS: New Mexico labor officials are requiring people to set up new accounts to access online services for job searches and unemployment benefits.

_ TROUBLED SCHOOL DISTRICT: A capital improvements mill levy for a troubled northern New Mexico school district has failed.



CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa _ The Quad Cities River Bandits kicked off what was supposed to be their longest road trip of 2019 on Monday. Manager Ray Hernandez and his players couldn’t help but chuckle in exasperation. The River Bandits’ season _ vexed by flooding from the nearby Mississippi River _ devolved into an exhaustive road trek before it even started.
