Police: Motorcyclist, 39, killed in single-vehicle crash
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) — Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash in western Massachusetts.
The Daily Hampshire Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/20pQEwG ) it happened at around 6 p.m. Monday in Northampton near the intersection of Elm Street and Paradise Road.
The 39-year-old Northampton man was taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Details about what led to the crash were not immediately available. His identity has not been released.
The road was closed for more than three hours while state police investigated the crash. It reopened around 9:30 p.m.
