Redskins’ LaVar Arrington Injured
ASHBURN, Va. (AP) _ Washington linebacker LaVar Arrington has a sprained ligament in his right knee and could be out several weeks.
``It doesn’t look good,″ Arrington said Tuesday. ``It’s a bummer.″
Two other Redskins defenders were injured in Monday night’s 37-0 loss to Green Bay. Defensive end Marco Coleman dislocated his left elbow, and backup cornerback Donovan Greer was scheduled for an MRI for an unspecified knee injury.
Coach Marty Schottenheimer, who reveals little information about injuries, said none of the three is likely to play Sunday against Kansas City.
The Redskins also released defensive end David Bowens, who did not play in the first two games.
