Bahamas police discover 75,000 marijuana plants

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Police in the Bahamas say they have discovered 75,000 marijuana plants with an estimated value of $7.5 million in a rural area on eastern Grand Bahama island.

No one has been arrested. Police said Friday that they acted on a tip with help from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
