Head-on crash kills 1 woman, seriously injures 2 others

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a head-on crash involving two SUV’s in southern New Jersey killed one woman and seriously injured two Pennsylvania residents.

Middle Township police say 73-year-old Elizabeth MacNamara, of Collingswood, was driving southbound on Court House-South Dennis Road when her vehicle went into the oncoming lane around 11:45 a.m. Saturday and struck an SUV driven by 64-year-old Ann Ramage, of York, Pennsylvania.

MacNamara was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ramage and her passenger, 65-year-old York resident Roberta Blasdell, both suffered multiple injuries and were taken to a hospital. But further details on their conditions were not disclosed.

Authorities said the cause of the accident remained under investigation Monday.
