HHS teachers learn fast food industry

HUNTINGTON— Huntington High School teachers will go “back to school” to learn the day to day operations of a fast food industry. Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 4:30-7 p.m.

McDonald’s on Hal Greer Boulevard will sponsor HHS McTeacher night. McDonald’s will donate 20 percent of their profits to the school for Academy programs.

According to Deborah Chapman, academy coordinator, “The teachers are excited to have the opportunity to help our community and school and we invite everyone to stop by and watch your Highlander teachers flip fries, and greet the public. We even hear that our principal, Danny Gleason, and Superintendent Ryan Saxe will be there to welcome everyone.”
