Federal marshals arrested South Carolina shooting suspect

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (AP) — A suspect in a shooting last month has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in South Carolina.

Local media outlets report that Tyree Steed of North Charleston was arrested by a task force Wednesday in Huger in Berkeley County. Steed is charged with murder and possession of a gun during a violent crime.

Summerville police were called to an apartment complex Oct. 12 and found 28-year-old Adrian Dwan Haley of North Charleston.

It was not known if Steed has a lawyer. A bond hearing is scheduled Thursday.
