Police: Elderly man assaulted in road rage case

A 47-year-old Houston man assaulted an elderly man and took his phone after a road rage incident March 30 in the parking lot of Buc-ee’s, 11151 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland police reported.

“The assault occurred after the victim complained to the suspect about his speed in which he was driving,” police spokesman James Wells said.

Police took the younger man into custody, and he faces charges for injury to an elderly individual, Wells said.

Assault

Police detained a juvenile male suspect for assault, family violence March 25 in the 2400 block of Anthony Drive.

Police filed an assault report March 26 in the 1800 block of Oak Lodge Drive.

Assault was reported March 26 in the 2800 block of Business Center Boulevard, police said.

Assault, family violence was reported March 26 in the 12400 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 36, for assault and marijuana possession March 27 in the 9800 block of King Authors Court.

A Pearland man, 30, received a citation for assault March 30 in the 2700 block of West Oaks Circle East, police said.

A Pearland man, 33, was taken into custody for assault, family violence March 30 in the 5000 block of Groveton Lane, police said.

Police took a Pearland woman, 37, into custody for assault, family violence March 30 in the 3700 block of Sunset Meadows Drive.

A Pearland man, 35, was arrested for assault, family violence March 30 in the 1900 block of Winding Creek Drive, police said.

Police arrested a 21-year-old Pearland man for assault, family violence March 31 in the 9000 block of Sunny Brook Lane.

Theft

Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported March 25 in the 2800 block of South Sam Houston Parkway East, police said.

Shoplifting was reported March 25 in the 11100 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

An unknown female suspect committed shoplifting March 25 in the 10100 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police filed a shoplifting report March 25 in the 2000 block of Main Street.

An unknown female suspect stole merchandise March 26 at Victoria’s Secret, 11200 Broadway St., police said.

Police filed a report for impersonating a public servant and identity fraud March 28 in the 5500 block of Cunningham Drive.

Credit or debit card abuse occurred between Nov. 9, 2018, and March 29, according to a police report filed March 29 in the 3000 block of Birch Landing Court.

Narcotics

Police arrested an Alvin woman, 32, for marijuana possession March 26 in the 11100 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Police arrested two offenders on narcotics charges March 27 in the 3400 block of Harkey Road.

A Houston woman, 23, was arrested for marijuana possession March 28 in the 15700 block of Texas 288, police said.

An 18-year-old Houston man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and no driver’s license March 29 in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive, police said.

A Pasadena man, 20, was taken into custody for marijuana possession, unlawfully carrying a weapon and DWI March 31 in the 8300 block of Broadway Street, police said.

A 20-year-old Pearland woman was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance March 31 in the 9900 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 21, for marijuana possession March 31 in the 2400 block of Business Center Drive.

Driving while intoxicated

A Houston man, 39, was arrested for DWI and a warrant March 25 in the 6600 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police arrested a Vidor woman, 35, for DWI March 30 in the 16500 block of Texas 288.

A 37-year-old Houston man was taken into custody for DWI March 30 in the 1500 block of Fallen Oak Court, police said.

Police arrested an Alvin man, 45, for DWI March 30 in the 3800 block of Halik Road.

A Tampa, Florida, man, 42, was arrested for DWI March 31 in the 3400 block of East Circle Drive, police said.

Threats, harassment

Police arrested a Pearland man, 25, for terroristic threat and criminal mischief March 25 in the 3000 block of Sherborne Street.

Police filed a harassment report March 26 in the 2500 block of Dixie Woods Drive.

Police filed a terroristic threat report March 28 in the 4700 block of Bailey Road.

Electronic harassment was reported March 28 in the 2100 block of Meadow Wind Drive, police said.

A known offender has contacted a complainant against her wishes by email, phone and in person, even when advised by police to have no further contact, according to a report filed March 30 in the 3600 block of Sunset Meadows Drive.

Criminal mischief

Police filed a criminal mischief report March 25 in the 2300 block of Rosehill Garden Trail.

Police arrested a Houston man, 38, for criminal mischief March 28 in the 11000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

A window was reported broken March 29 in the 2200 block of Business Center Drive, police said.

Evading arrest

Police took an Alvin man, 27, into custody for evading arrest and a Brazoria County warrant.

A Pearland man, 27, was taken into custody for criminal trespass and evading arrest March 31 in the 2100 block of Roland Rue, police said.

Traffic

Police arrested a Pearland man, 45, for driving while license invalid March 26 in the 2000 block of Mykawa Road.

A Liberty man, 31, was arrested for driving while license invalid March 26 in the 3000 block of Business Center Drive, police said.

A Pearland man, 51, was arrested for violating terms of his occupational license March 28 in the 8300 block of Freedom Drive, police said.

Police took a Houston man, 34, into custody for no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility March 29 in the 2200 block of Country Place Parkway.

Police arrested a San Antonio man, 37, for failure to identify as a fugitive, driving while license invalid and a Bexar County warrant March 30 in the 2200 block of Main Street.

Disorderly conduct

A juvenile male student created a disturbance in a classroom and refused to leave with school administrators March 26 in the 3300 block of Manvel Road, police said.

A juvenile male student disrupted class March 29 at Berry Miller Junior High School, 3301 Manvel Road, police said. Other students left the classroom, according to the report.

Criminal activity

Police conducted a criminal investigation March 27 in the 3900 block of Oak Plank Road.

Robbery

Aggravated robbery occurred March 27 in the 6000 block of Larrycrest Drive, according to a March 29 police report.

Public intoxication

Police arrested an Alvin man, 42, for public intoxication March 31 in the 2400 block of Main Street. A 45-year-old Alvin man was arrested for no driver’s license, police said.
