Police pursue apparent bank robber in Soda Springs
SODA SPRINGS — A suspect wearing a fake mustache, a dark-colored jacket robbed the local Ireland Bank Monday afternoon, police said.
The apparent robbery of the bank, located at 98 W. Second St., was reported just after noon on Monday.
Authorities said the suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, and he may have also been wearing a long, dark wig. He reportedly entered the bank on foot and had no known weapons.
Idaho State Police confirmed there was a bank robbery in Soda Springs.
Officials with the Soda Springs Police Department and the Caribou County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident and did return repeated calls for comment Monday.
Officials with Ireland Bank in Soda Springs deferred to their Malad branch for comment, where officials declined to offer a comment.
