HUNTINGTON — The ninth annual Huntington Music and Arts Festival kicked off Monday evening with its first event, HMAF Appalachia, at The Wild Ramp.

The third year for HMAF Appalachia drew about 160 local artisans and food producers to the heart of Old Central City.

An old-time dance hosted by Huntington Old Time Dance and Music (HOT DAM) is a new addition to the regionally themed showcase, with caller Abby Huggins.

Singer/songwriter Tim Lancaster provided the tunes to the arts and craft fair.
