Farm Bill outlook to be highlighted at Farm Show
NORFOLK - Farm Bill decisions and an outlook for 2019 will be highlighted during the 32nd annual Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show next week.
UNL Extension Economist Jim Jansen says with the recent passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, there are things that need to be addressed.
“There have been some challenging times on the farm financial side and this presentation will give an overview on what we can expect to see in the upcoming farm bill legislation as it gets implemented.”
Jansen says he will be covering the Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs as well. That session is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16th.
The 32nd annual Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show is set for next Wednesday and Thursday at the Chuck Pohlman Ag Complex on the campus of Northeast Community College.
