FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) _ The guys in the rock band Disturbed don't mean to burst your bubble, but being backstage at a concert isn't exactly a party.

Singer David Draiman said nothing really interesting goes on, aside from a bunch of roadies moving equipment. But he knows fans like to go backstage just to say they were there.

``It's all good because you know something? We were those people, too, not too long ago,'' Draiman told AP Radio. ``You know, just being able to say to your friends, `Hey, I was backstage at such and such concert.' `Did you talk to anybody?' `No, but I was backstage and it was really cool.'''

The Chicago band's debut album, ``The Sickness,'' was released last year.
