Orchids and Onions: Thursday, December 6, 2018

December 7, 2018

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Orchids to the customers and employees of First Savings Bank on Acoma Blvd. who successfully collected 86 pounds of nonperishable foods for the Havasu Community Health Foundation’s Food Bank thanksgiving food drive. Thank you for your generosity.

Onions to the Barber that just does not get it…It’s all about objective research…

Orchids to the members of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Women of the Moose for all the donations to feed needy in Havsau, it was so nice. Again a big thanks to all. Donna

Onions to the sunken manhole covers. Bad enough when you hit one in a car but on a two wheeler it drives the lower jaw into the upper.

Orchids to Firefighter Mike at Upper Limits for very necessary smoke detector and ladder work. Thanks for making my house safer! Jay W

Orchids to Teresa at Walgreens. I left this morning. The sky was cloudy, wind was gusting, I went to Walgreens, bought my goods and got a Teresa hug. As I left, the sky was blue, the wind had died and my day was truly amazing, Ranger Terry

Onions to the man in the bar inquiring about importing camels to Mohave County. History shows what happened when miners relocated burros here. They multiplied like fruit flies. Camels do the same, sometimes inbreeding with other animals. I hate to think what might occur if they got loose in Donkey Acres!

Onions to the car dealership that used decorative flyers to win cash by “scratch off” advertisement.

Orchids to Dr. Tomas and his entire staff. The ladies there are simply the best. Knowledgeable, Skilled, and they all have a wonderful personality. Thanks for all your help.

Orchids to the kind, nice, dispatcher Dee at Be Right There. Thank you for always getting all customers pick up and if late or behind times. We appreciate courtesy calls of letting us know so we’d like to just thank you. 100 percent customer service given. Thank you Dee, glad to hear that voice again.

Orchids to My Truck and I Need A Job. Best moving company in Havasu. Tom Hernandez is a great Havasu business owner trustworthy and lowest prices in the area. Also does long distance moving with the same low prices.

Onions to whiners. You have nothing better to do than sit at home on Facebook all day long and find things to complain about. Didn’t your mama teach you if you can’t say something nice, shut your mouth?

Orchids to people who leave their dogs at home instead of taking them to the grocery store and restaurants. Nobody wants your ‘fur baby’ near their food.
