FA investigates Norwich player’s racism allegation
LONDON (AP) — The English Football Association is investigating allegations by Norwich striker Cameron Jerome that he was racially abused by an opponent.
During an English second-tier match against Leeds on Tuesday, Jerome complained to the referee about alleged abuse from defender Giuseppe Bellusci.
Norwich manager Neil Adams said after the 1-1 draw that “Cameron Jerome has alleged he was the subject of a racist remark.”
And the FA said Wednesday that “we are investigating this allegation.”
