GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) _ A football player at Division III Gettysburg College was killed when his sport utility vehicle flipped several times in a corn field after the wedding of a high school friend.
Keith Alan Adams, 23, was ejected from the car after it rolled four or five times, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:15 a.m. Sunday.
Adams County coroners said he died from blunt force trauma. A toxicology test will be conducted.
Police said that Adams was traveling alone on a straight section of roadway when his vehicle went off the road to the western side and crashed.
Adams was Gettysburg’s second leading tackler last season and had four interceptions in nine starts.
