Ludington protestors: ‘We’re here to protect Mueller’
Cries of “no one is above the law,” and “this is what democracy looks like” sounded along Ludington Avenue Thursday at the Mason County Courthouse.
The calls came from about 20 concerned citizens who were protesting the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, which President Donald Trump requested Wednesday.
The fear, according to Beth McGill, who helped organize the demonstration, is that Sessions’ removal will jeopardize Robert Mueller’s ongoing probe into possible Russian collusion in the Trump administration and campaign leading up to the 2016 election.
