Portage police notebook for August 23, 2018

Between 9:50 a.m. Tuesday and 5:32 a.m. Thursday police responded to 50 calls.
Village Road: Police on Tuesday at 9:41 a.m. responded to a situation in which a woman was accused of stealing a woman’s dog and reportedly told the woman that authorities picked up the dog. Latoya Loufik, 26, of Portage, was issued a misdemeanor ordinance citation for obstructing an officer.
West Carroll Street: Police on Tuesday at 12:27 p.m. responded to an incident whereupon visiting an apartment, Felicia Wagner, 33, of Portage, was arrested on a probation hold and on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
East Howard Street: Police on Tuesday at 4:23 p.m. encountered Stacy Fredrick, 32, of Portage, who was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
East Conant Street: Police on Wednesday at 12:25 a.m. responded to a domestic disturbance where a 36-year-old Portage man was cited for domestic disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
East Conant Street: Police on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. encountered Ryan Myers, 33, of Portage, who was arrested and cited for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
MacFarlane Road: Police on Wednesday at 2:20 p.m. responded to a situation in which a 13-year-old Portage male was breaking things in a house. The juvenile was referred to Columbia County Health and Human Services for disorderly conduct.
