Pitt received its 15th commitment from a member of the class of 2019 Friday night when Germantown, Md., cornerback A.J. Woods flipped from James Madison.

Woods, 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, had verbally committed to James Madison of the FCS on June 25. He announced his decision to change his mind on his Twitter account. He had one other Power 5 offer from Virginia.

Woods, ranked a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, joins his Northwest High School teammate, defensive end Deandre Jules, in Pitt’s 2019 recruiting class. He is also the only cornerback.
