Wayne L. Senesac, 81, of Kankakee, passed away Sunday (Dec. 16, 2018) at his home.
He was born March 3, 1937, in Kankakee, the son of Rene and Evelyn Regnier Senesac. His wife, Hazel Ann Thompson, preceded him in death on Sept. 17, 2013.
Wayne was a carpenter and owned WLS Construction. He loved his construction business and really enjoyed working. He was a member of Maternity BVM Catholic Church.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Les (Linda) Senesac, of Beecher, Gordon Senesac, of New Lenox, and Michael (Lisa) Senesac, of Eaton, Ohio; one daughter, Melissa Senesac, of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren, Jamie Meyer, Stacy Padden, Gordon Senesac Jr., Greg Senesac and Chayse Gray; two great-grandchildren, Gordon Bruce Senesac and Ashlee Marlinda Meyer; one brother, Denny Senesac, of Indiana; and his former wife, Mary Smith, of Kankakee.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, also at the funeral home. The Rev. Terry Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Aroma Park Cemetery in Aroma Park.
