Registration set for Florence One Schools
FLORENCE, S.C. – Registration for the 2018-19 school year for students in Florence One Schools will take place Aug. 6-10 for high school students and Aug. 8-9 for elementary and middle school students.
All elementary and middle schools will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. for registration on Aug. 8 and Aug. 9.
Registration for South Florence High School and West Florence High School students will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Aug. 6-10. Registration for seniors will be held on Monday, Aug. 6, for juniors on Tuesday, Aug. 7, for sophomores on Wednesday, Aug. 8 and for freshmen on Thursday, Aug. 9.
Make-up registration day for both schools is Aug. 10. South Florence will hold make-up registration from 8:30 a.m. until noon, and West Florence will hold make-up registration from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Registration for Wilson High School freshmen will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7. Registration for sophomores and juniors will be held from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8. Registration for seniors will be held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9. Wilson High will hold make-up registration from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Aug. 10.
Schools may extend the registration times to be available for parents who cannot register their children during designated school hours. Parents should register students at the school where they are zoned. Contact the attendance and zoning office at 843-673-1164 for zoning information. The Florence One Office of Attendance and Zoning is located at 412 S. Dargan Street.
The first day of school for students is Monday, Aug. 20.
