Elizabeth Aranha and Scott Busteed

Elizabeth Aranha and Scott Busteed, both of Chicago, Ill., were married Sept. 1, 2018, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Omaha. The 2 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Toby Letak.

Parents of the couple are Dr. Gerard and Rose Aranha of Oak Brook, Ill., and Terry and Pam Busteed of Madison. A cocktail dinner reception and dance followed at The Durham Museum.

Scott and Elizabeth met while pursuing their master’s degrees in speech language pathology at University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Matron of honor was Caroline Prabhu, sister of the bride. Bridal attendees were Stacy Petersen, Heather Aranha, Ashley McCullough, Annie Hartmann, Mary Kate McDonnell, Catherine Maloney, Katherine Perrone and Amy Harsant. Flower girls were Brynn and Avery Petersen, Charlotte Aranha, Meg and Kate Prabhu.

Best man was Keith Sunderman, friend of the groom. Groom attendees were Matthew Aranha, Jon Petersen, Scott Chappell, Donnie Turchin, Eric Tighe, Philip Behan, Anthony Arnold and TD Hartner. Ring bearers were Nolan Aranha and Colin Petersen.

After a honeymoon to Miami Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Chicago.
