Waupun Police Beat, 10-5 to 10-7, 2018
Bail jumping — Friday at 1:07 a.m., police entered a tavern in the 300 block of East Main Street and observed two subjects who had conditions of bond requiring absolute sobriety and to refrain from being in any bars or taverns. A 23-year-old Brandon woman and a 24-year-old Brandon man were removed from the tavern. Charges of bail jumping are being referred against both to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office.
Traffic stop — Friday at 4:17 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Forest Street at East Jefferson Street. A 19-year-old Waupun woman was cited for operating after suspension and operating without insurance. At 6:45 p.m., police again stopped the woman for the same offenses while driving the same car. The woman was issued the same citations from the first traffic stop.
Warrant — Saturday at 1:15 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Young Street for a warrant pickup. Police were given consent to search the residence and located three juveniles. A missing 16-year-old Waupun juvenile who also had an arrest warrant for contempt of court through Dodge County was taken into custody. A missing 15-year-old Watertown juvenile was also taken into custody. Both juveniles were turned over to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and were transported to juvenile lockup in West Bend.
Domestic disturbance — Sunday at 4:24 a.m., police responded to a residence in the first hundred block of North Watertown Street for a physical domestic disturbance. A 29-year-old Waupun man was later located just outside the city limits and he was taken into custody for disorderly conduct, battery, false imprisonment and criminal damage to property. The man was transported to Fond du Lac County Jail.
Traffic stop — Sunday at 7:30 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Carrington Street at East Lincoln Street. A 34-year-old Waupun woman was cited for operating after suspension and operating without insurance.
