Barbra Streisand May Miss Grammys
NEW YORK (AP) _ The flu knocked Barbra Streisand out of Sunday’s Grammy rehearsal with Celine Dion, and the illness may force her out of Wednesday’s award show.
``Her doctor is not yet able to determine if the illness will prevent her performance at the awards ceremonies,″ Dick Guttman, her spokesman in Beverly Hills., Calif., said in a release Sunday night.
Streisand, 55, had a fever and was being treated with antibiotics, he said.
She is nominated for two Grammys _ one with Dion for their duet ``Tell Him,″ and another for ``I Finally Found Someone,″ from Streisand’s film ``The Mirror Has Two Faces.″
Streisand apparently came down with the flu Friday, the day after her boyfriend, James Brolin, allegedly attacked a newspaper photographer outside a theater.
